Mobile Oenophile. Mobile Wine Pairing.

Users can search database based on filters, such as price, type, varietal, region etc.. One key feature is ability to enter UPC while in a store, restaurant etc.. and retrieve information on that product. Users link from wines to specific recipes and cheeses in addition to the basic pairing grid that others offer. Users will be able to start with a recipe or cheese and then find wines to pair to it either at the high level varietal level or the wines from the database that meet that criteria. Users will be able to add their own notes, store them in a wish list, favorites list and share this information inside the mobile social network and other outside sources such as Twitter, MySpace etc.. In addition to the product information on spirits will provide drink recipes to make with those ingredients. A free version with ad support from sponsors (wineries, spirits, cheese makers, food products for recipe ingredients etc..) is available as well as a premium version with additional features for a fee.
