History
With 200,000 subscribers and enterprise installations as large as 6,000-plus users, Terratial is quickly establishing a powerful footprint in the exploding mobile consumer and enterprise market alike. Initially breaking ground in the fun and games category for BlackBerry users before pioneering business applications and finally going across the board with unique cross-platform provisioning software, Terratial Technologies delivers award winning software, wonderful user experience and commercially profitable applications.
In 2008, Terratial introduced T-Live™, a rapid application development platform for mobile content management with an iPod-like interface and universal connectivity to RSS news feeds, intranet, Internet and other data sources (e.g., SAP, Oracle). In 2010, an icon-based iPhone-like interface was added. T-Live™ is available as a location-based mobile information portal or as a fully customizable "private label" mobile platform for "mobilizing" content of any kind and branding. T-Live includes a facility to disperse/redeem coupons electronically on mobile phones and over the Internet.
Awarded the much-coveted Handango BlackBerry Developer of the Year Award when it was given out for the first time in 2005, Terratial Technologies received it for the second time in 2008. Along with Handmark's Award for Development Excellence and the award for Leading Developer of Innovation by Orange, Terratial Technologies has established a track record for creating a consistent, reliable and sustainable foundation of mobile software development for years to come.
Over the past 6 years Terratial Technologies successfully changed its business model from a seller of mobile products in 2004 to a subscription service provider in 2005 and, in 2007, to an ad-based content provider. In 2008 terratial introduced T-Life™, a mobile content management system to provide serious mobile connectivity to the masses
The company was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, received multiple awards and graduated in 2008 from the Advanced Technology Development Center at Georgia Technology Institute having achieved the requisite revenue level in the previous year.
