The answers

Q: Does DocHawk Server™ require that I use a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server?

A: No, and only Terratial can deliver on this promise.

Q: We have a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server. Does DocHawk Server™ require that any changes be made to BES?

A: No. Unlike other companies' offerings which require that you install proprietary libraries into the heart of a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, Terratial instead considers this area to be sacred and therefore we require no modifications to BES. BES is quite dependable, but in the off-chance that something should go wrong, you can rest assured that DocHawk Server™ will not need to be part of your troubleshooting.

Q: Does DocHawk Server™ require the use of Microsoft Exchange Server?

A: No. If you happen to use Exchange Server, then DocHawk Server™ provides a direct WebDAV connector which makes it simple to interface with Exchange with no changes required in your environment. On the other hand, if you do not use Exchange Server, then effectively any other e-mail server, such as Notes, Groupwise, etc., can be accessed via POP3. Please note that POP3 would be needed only for the one e-mail account which is used for DocHawk™'s transmissions. This means that all other user accounts running on the e-mail server may continue to have POP3 disabled, if desired.
